In 2001, Indigo Books, one of the largest bookstore chains in Canada, merged with the Chapters book store and formed Canada's largest bookstore, which included Indigo Books, Chapters, and Coles bookstores. Chapters bookstore has many locations in major Canadian cities like Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Edmonton.
