Zellers Canada (Zellers.ca)

Zellers is the largest discount department store in Canada, founded by Walter P. Zellers in 1931. It was acquired by the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in 1978.
Currently, Zellers has about 350 locations in Canadian cities like Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and Vancouver. Most of the Zellers stores are located in Ontario. Zellers.ca is part of HBC online store that also includes the Bay and Home outfitters stores in Canada.
On January 2011 U.S. retailer Target bought Zellers from Hudson's Bay company for $1.8 billion. Target Canada will convert Zellers locations to Target stores in 2013.
